From June 23rd to 26th, Athens became a key meeting point for thousands of surgeons, healthcare professionals, and medical industry representatives from around the world, hosting the 34th Annual Congress of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES) under the theme: “From Hippocrates to modern surgical innovation.”
The scientific program focused on the latest advancements in laparoscopic, robotic, and endoscopic surgery through specialized sessions, state-of-the-art lectures, masterclasses, hands-on workshops, and high-level educational seminars.
Leading medical technology companies, including Olympus and Edge Medical – both trusting PROTON as their strategic partner in Greece – actively participated among others in the congress exhibition, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and highlighting the growing strength of the Greek surgical community on the European scientific map.
