Healthcare professionals from across Europe gathered in Thessaloniki on September 17–18 for specialized lectures and hands-on training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
The educational program, titled “Advanced Laparoscopic Procedures Using ICG, YE and NBI in Gynecology,” was delivered through a collaboration between Olympus, PROTON and St. Luke’s Hospital, under the guidance of PD Dr. med. Andreas Kavallaris, Scientific Lead of the Gynecologic Oncology Unit.
By leveraging advanced imaging technologies, including ICG, YE, and NBI, together with HICURA™ laparoscopic instruments and POWERSEAL™ advanced bipolar energy, participants had the opportunity to enhance their understanding of innovative laparoscopic techniques and gain valuable hands-on insights into their practical application in everyday surgical practice.
At PROTON, we believe that meaningful progress in healthcare is driven by the combination of innovation, education and collaboration. Programs like this provide an ideal platform for sharing knowledge and clinical experience!
